Effective September 15, 2026 · v1 draft, under review by counsel

AI Camp runs in-person day camps where kids build games with AI. This policy explains what information we collect when a parent registers a child, why we collect it, and how you control it. Questions: [email protected].

Who this is for

Our website is for parents and legal guardians. Children never create accounts on aicamp.fun and never give us information themselves. Everything we know about a child, we learn from their parent.

What we collect

  • Your account. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft we receive your name and email address. We use them to identify your account and to contact you about camp. We do not receive your password.
  • Your child's registration. Their name and grade, and the information you provide in the registration forms: emergency and pickup contacts, health information relevant to their care at camp (such as allergies and medications), pediatrician and insurance details, and a photo used to identify your child at check-in and pickup.
  • Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. We keep a record of what was paid, when, and any refunds.
  • Your choices. The forms you sign, when you signed them, and which version you agreed to — including whether you allow us to use your child's photo and whether your child may appear on a public showcase.

Why we collect it

To run the camp safely and nothing else: to register your child, keep them safe and cared for during the day, release them only to the adults you named, process your payment, and send you the emails a camp needs to send (confirmations, reminders, your child's showcase). We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Children's privacy

We collect information about children only from a parent or legal guardian, and only what is needed to run the camp. Anything shown publicly — for example a game your child built — uses a nickname, never your child's real name, and only if you have opted in. You can withdraw that permission at any time from your account, and you can ask us to delete your child's information.

Who we share it with

  • Stripe, to process payments.
  • gamehub.build, the platform campers build games on, so your child can be added to the camp's roster — with your consent, which gamehub asks for separately.
  • Camp staff, who see only what their role needs: counselors see care information and the pickup list; only camp operators see pediatrician and insurance details.

We never sell your information and never share it for marketing.

Keeping it and deleting it

We keep registration records for as long as we need them to run the camp and meet our legal obligations. You can ask us at any time to delete your child's health, pickup, and photo information; we erase the details and the images while keeping the record that you registered and what you agreed to.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Photos and documents are stored in private storage that is never publicly accessible. Access by staff is limited by role and recorded.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will show you the new version and ask you to accept it before your next registration. The date at the top tells you which version you are reading.
